Anita Miller Named New Interim Greensboro Chief of Police

Greensboro has named Anita Holder interim police chief while a search for Ken Miller’s replacement continues.

Holder, who is very qualified, has served in patrol operations, vice/narcotics, personnel and training, information and technology, the office of chief of police and as the commander of the support bureau.

She is currently overseeing the department’s transition to neighborhood-oriented policing.

Holder states:  “This is an exciting opportunity and one that I look forward to.  We have a strong department that is doing great things in its service to our community. We will make progress toward accomplishing our goals and our focus will continue to be on building stronger relationships with the residents of Greensboro.”
