New York is the city that never sleeps, and apparently Greensboro is the city that never stops shooting. It seems we can’t go five minutes without another discharge of a firearm in some part of our city.
The unusual part is that these shootings are now starting to happen more frequently during the daytime. Officers responded just before 5 PM to reports of an aggravated assault. When the Greensboro Police Department arrived they found a 22-year-old man with multiple gun shots wounds.
The man was taken to a local hospital where he’s currently being treated for his injuries. No further information about this shooting is currently available. But our Greensboro Criminal Lawyer is looking into the cause of this spike in shooting cases in our city. Whether it’s firearms being taken off of felons, or it’s discharging of a firearm in our great city, it appears that firearm violence has hit an all new high.
We need communities to come together to help stop this violent trend.
