The death of a woman at the Cavalier Inn on June 11, 2019, has led to yet another arrest. This is the third suspect to be arrested in the Cavalier Inn Murder. Our Greensboro Felony Lawyers are looking into the case in order to get a better idea of what happened that fateful evening.

Initially, the first arrest was Leon Brimley who was arrested in Durham, North Carolina and charged with Murder as well as multiple counts of Armed Robbery related charges. A couple of weeks later, Paul Gilmore was arrested June 11, 2019, at a bus stop in Columbus, Ohio and charged with similar charges of Murder and Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon.
The third arrest happened last night, when Jalen Austin was arrested and charged with first degree murder. All three of them are locked up in the Guilford County jail and are currently awaiting their rule 24 Motion to make the determination as to whether or not the state is going to proceed with Capital Murder. On June 11, 2019, just after 5 PM, Greensboro Police responded to the Cavalier Inn on JJ Drive in reference to shooting call. Upon arriving at the hotel police located Mamie Martin suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. She was transported to the hospital where she later died from her injuries one week later on June 18, 2019. Crime Stoppers is currently allowing awards for those that call in with information about the Greensboro Homicide.
