Our lawyer heard a report of a 9-year-old who was rescued by her school bus driver recently. The girl was dropped off at her stop and then a vehicle whizzed by the bus when the young girl was still on the side of the road.
The bus driver confronted the vehicle because the girl was waiving saying take me home. Our attorney received word, that the man left that scene then attempted to steal another car in front of another house. The owner stopped him with a pocket knife.
The man was arrested and he had heroin, marijuana, and meth on him. The man was charged with first-degree kidnapping, robbery and theft of a motor vehicle.
