On Saturday, law enforcement was called to the scene of shots being fired into a vehicle around 6:30 PM. Our criminal lawyer in Greensboro, NC, was told that upon arrival at the scene police found a woman inside of the vehicle after the vehicle crashed into an apartment building.
The driver of the vehicle had been shot a number of times in what appeared to be the chest.
Our criminal defense lawyer was told that the man and woman were inside of their car near apartments when someone approached and began firing. The woman tried to drive the vehicle away but then crashed into the apartment building. There was a passenger in the vehicle who was not hurt in the shooting, but apparently he walked away from the car. Our criminal attorney was told that the man who walked away was later located.

Criminal Lawyer Greensboro NC
Saturday night, just after 10 PM, our criminal lawyer was advised that a suspect fired into a home. It all started with an earlier issue between a person living in the house and the alleged shooter. A man who was inside of the home came outside and returned fire at the man who shot at his house. Our criminal defense lawyer was advised that the man was shot in the head and taken to a local hospital.
This may be a bit of a double whammy for the man who was shot. Because he was the aggressor, the man who fired back will have self-defense and defense of others on his side. Then the man who fired will be facing charges of discharging into occupied property, assault with a deadly weapon with the intent to kill, attempted murder, and perhaps possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
