Instances of Domestic Violence

Domestic violence is a terrifying thing while you are going through it, but it is also something the court takes very seriously. Instances of domestic violence could include stalking, physical violence, financial violence, or in some instances heated conversations.

If you feel as though you are the victim of domestic violence, you should likely take out what is known as a 50b against your spouse, or partner in a relationship. This is a protective order which will require the other person to stay away from you and your children.
