Attorney Kevin Harrison, a top rated partner and trial lawyer with Garrett, Walker and Aycoth, utilizes his great trial skills to coach the next generation of future litigators.
A star on his own trial team while in law school, Mr.
Harrison continued to develop his skills by analyzing and criticizing other lawyers as a coach.
Trial team coaches must possess a mastery of evidence rules and legal theories, in order to judge (and in real life, win) suppression motions and legal arguments. Just as important is the charisma and courtroom decorum they must show, in order to win the “human influence,” or “judicial favor,” that plays a large role in real-world trials.
Mr. Harrison will take Greensboro’s Elon University School of Law to competition next weekend at Duke University.
Mr. Harrison, a former Guilford County prosecutor, practices in the areas of criminal law, 50-B domestic protection orders, and Employment Law and Business Formation and Litigation.
