According to our Greensboro attorney, local law enforcement are currently in the process of a manhunt for a suspect involved in a shooting that left a man dead.
At 11:30 PM on Saturday, police responded to reports of gunshots at a local residence. Upon arrival, they found a 34 year old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. He later died from his personal injury.
Witnesses have advised that they saw the man show up to the house and confront the homeowner. An argument ensued and the man began to walk back towards his home and he began to yell for someone to call the police. All of a sudden they heard a gunshot and the homeowner dropped. They helped him into the home where Fire and EMS found him. Unfortunately, they were unable to save him and police have taken out charges for second degree murder against the man.
The suspect has been said to be driving a 2011 Ford Escape. Our lawyer has been advised that the man is to be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees the man is toll 911 immediately.
