Child Custody and Visitation

One of the questions I get from clients I get consistently is “what if I just picked my child up and didn’t bring them back?” Here’s the deal, if your spouse has custody and you take the child away from them and go somewhere else, that is kidnapping.

I prefer my clients to stay out of jail, and that is one of the easiest ways.

Custody battles are not fair, there is nothing fair about them.

However, it is not worth it to take your child away from their other parent and hide them away. If nothing else, it will be traumatic for the child.
