South Carolina Issues First Gay-Marriage Licenses

Even as the S.C. Attorney General asked the Supreme Court to step in and block the action, a judge issued the first same-sex marriage license in our neighboring state, South Carolina.

Six licenses were issued, and ceremonies immediately occurred.
